Smithers Rapra Supports The Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus
SHROPSHIRE, UK (January 18, 2010) - Smithers Rapra, the leading UK polymer specialist donated a cheque for £400 at its Shawbury-based Polymer Consultancy, Testing, Processing and Analytical centre.
The company, which is a subsidiary of the US-based independent testing, consulting and contract research organisation, The Smithers Group, made the donation from cost savings made over recent weeks of sending information electronically.
“The utilisation of one e-zine campaign as opposed to a traditional hard copy mailing saved Smithers Rapra in the region of £400, and what better way to acknowledge the saving than making a donation to the leading UK registered charity, The Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus www.asbah.org . Not only did the campaign save money but the response from potential customers seeking information on our enhanced consultancy services exceeded all expectations” said Mike Day, Managing Director.
